Farewell To Summer: A Retreat For Mothers

  • Kenoza Lake, NY United States (map)
  • Google Calendar ICS

Rewild yourself by enjoying a connection with nature, earthy foods, grounding practices, and most importantly, communion in motherhood.

As the summer closes, and we draw closer to darker and colder months, take this opportunity to honor the season, celebrate all your body is doing for you, and nourish your mind, body, and spirit.

Mothers often inhabit spaces of isolation, monotony, and restlessness. This retreat will allow you to leave that behind, if only for a couple days, and to fill yourself to the brim with light and love.

Where you’ll be staying

Located on 95 rolling hill acres in the Catskill Mountains of New York, with beautiful rolling hills, 4 large ponds, and trails through fern covered woods you’ll feel as if you’ve been taken into a fantasy. You will have your choice of accommodation in either a lakeside hobbit home, or a turn of the century farmhouse. Both private and shared rooms available.

There is also the option to come for the day only, at a lower price point.

What you’ll eat…

All of your meals during your stay will be covered, and get excited because we will be celebrating the transition from Summer to Autumn with all of the bounty our gardens have to offer us! Organic, and seasonal menus will be created and prepared by Chef Rachael Hollinger, including grazing boards, herbal teas, good wine, ripened fruit filled desserts, and a picnic dinner party to remember, in the twilight, by the lake.

Both vegetarian and vegan options will be available. Rachael is happy to work around whatever dietary restrictions you may have so that you can enjoy your meals to the fullest.
