The Motherhive Club is a community care project, accepting monthly donations for mothers and birthing people in need.

Postpartum care shouldn’t just be for the privileged. It should also be integrated into our healthcare system making it accessible to everyone. Sadly neither of those things are true in our current society.

It’s because I believe so strongly, that this work is vital and important to our communities, that I charge what I do, and I also support my family in doing it. The Motherhive Club was birthed out of my desire to care for anyone who should need it, not just those who can afford to pay for it.

If you have experienced this deficit, or know someone who has, this is a tangible way you can make a difference for another mother or birthing person in the world.

The Motherhive Club operates as a subscription service. As a postpartum doula and chef I am able to offer grants out of this continually flowing fund, to those who seek out postpartum support but are unable to bridge the financial gap.

This is what it looks like to “revillage” our motherhood spaces, joining the Motherhive is an act of protest but also an act of hope, of what could be if we became less isolated and more connected.

Take care of one another.
